Financial Analyst
We are looking for a committed and highly motivated Business Financial Accountant to join our IT Software & Consultancy business based in Oswestry, Shropshire. We are a friendly and hardworking firm, and you must be able to show that you are able to work as part of a team as well as independently. You will need to possess excellent communication and writing skills and be efficient with Sage and back-office technology systems.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This role will be the main financial contact for the company covering:
o Budget: Expenses and overhead for the business
o Tracking and managing P&L and Balance sheet.
o Accounts receivable: Current accounts payable contact for debtors on chasing debt and also bank reconciliation.
o Cash flow Management: Tracking cash in and out of the business
o Collaboration with the sales team to review sales forecast: Anticipated sales and calculation of expected profit.
o Assets and liabilities: Reviewing company's current assets and liabilities.
o Staff expenses: Reviewing the total amount spent on employee compensation & incentives for budgetary purposes.
o Profit projection: Anticipated profits over time for the 3 years with focus on forecast vs target.
o Utilisation of staff for profitability purposes.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
o Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
o Interacting with senior leadership team on financial and holding financial review meetings.
o Following up on business communications, billing, and ordering
o Reviewing, collecting and inputting company data for financial reporting.
o Other administrative tasks that are required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
o Association of Accounting Technicians for Advanced, and/or Professional.
o Good working knowledge of IT essentials such as Sage, Office 365, Outlook, MS Excel & MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
o Hardworking, committed, well-presented and friendly.
o Able to work as part of a team but also possess the ability to work on your own initiative
o Confident and outgoing
