SAP AppHaus Methodology
We are one of only 19 SAP Apphaus partners in the world certified and accredited by SAP to deliver its human-centred approach to innovation.
Our team is trained to facilitate workshops, run discovery sessions, and guide design decisions that turn an SAP investment into something your people actually want to use.
Technology changes fast. People don’t.
Technology alone isn't the answer to innovation. It's always changing - a new platform, a new AI model, a new release, always one step ahead of the last. Technology is the symptom. The real business issues - how people work, what they need, where the friction actually is - are the root cause, and they are very consistent.
The AppHaus approach starts with your people and how they actually work, then looks for technology that fits around that - not the other way around. Before we get anywhere near a platform decision, we help you define the real challenges and barriers in your business, including the ones that would quietly stop new technology from ever taking hold and we help you map the technology you already have and gaps that could be filled with it. Get that right, and the new technology choices get a lot easier.
APPHAUS ETHOS DRIVING INNOVATION
Design thinking is an established methodology, originating from Stanford's d.school, built around five stages: empathise, define, ideate, prototype, test. SAP built the AppHaus Network around it because it solves a problem specific to enterprise software: solutions nobody adopts, workarounds that creep in within weeks of launch, requirements that looked right on paper but don't match how the business actually works.
Catching those problems in a workshop is cheap, catching them at go-live, once they're buried in a live system, isn't, and that's exactly why the AppHaus Network treats design thinking as essential rather than optional. It's the reason projects delivered this way get adopted, not just tolerated.
AppHaus Services
At our AppHaus, we meet you wherever you are. Some businesses know exactly what they want to build and just need it done properly. Others aren't even sure yet what the real problem is. Either way, that's the starting point we work from, not a fixed package you're slotted into.

A working session to separate genuine AI opportunities from ones that just sound good in a slide.
Building the SAP-native applications that come out of the design process.
Facilitated workshops that bring your real users into the design process from day one, tested with real people before anything's finished, and supported with ongoing UX guidance as your SAP landscape evolves.
Map your integration landscape and identify where SAP Integration Suite can simplify it.
Assess where custom code and extensions sit against SAP's clean core principles, and what that means for your upgrade path.
Identify the manual processes most worth automating, grounded in how the people doing them actually work, not just what a spec assumes.
Something else in mind? If it's within reach of what we already do, tell us what you're trying to solve and we'll find a way to help. Not every good idea fits neatly into a named service.
Our AppHaus space is based in a converted church in Oswestry, Shropshire: offices, conference rooms, a usability lab, and an open collaborative space built specifically for this kind of work. It's a genuine purpose-built destination, not a shared meeting room borrowed for the occasion.
Shropshire is an understated location for innovation. It is the birthplace of both the modern Olympic Games and the Industrial Revolution. Our home county may appear quiet, but has a long-standing history of values that align perfectly with what the AppHaus stands for.
