SAP Workshops

Hands-on sessions to think bigger with SAP

Get more from SAP, whether that's BTP, AI, integration, clean core or automating a process. Bring together people from across your business, from IT to the teams who use the systems every day, and work on the problem side by side.

With LEGO® Serious Play®, pen and paper, and conversations that don't usually happen in the same room, you'll break down silos and spot the gaps nobody had noticed.
Join us at our AppHaus in Oswestry or online, and leave with a clear direction your users have already tested.

CHOOSE YOUR WORKSHOP

Areas we cover in our workshops

Every workshop starts from where you are today. If you know exactly what you need, we'll help you build it properly. If you're still working out what the real problem is, we'll help you find it first. Each session is shaped around your question, so you only spend time on what matters to you.

Whichever workshop you choose, design thinking shapes how it runs and UX is built in wherever it applies. Your real users are involved from day one, and ideas are tested with them before anything is finished.

BTP Discovery

Map what's actually possible on SAP BTP for your business, before any build begins.

Start here if you're holding BTP credits without a clear plan, or considering BTP for the first time.

AI Use-Case Discovery Session

A working session to separate genuine AI opportunities from ones that just sound good in a meeting.

Start here if leadership wants an AI plan and you need a shortlist you can defend.

App Development

Building the SAP-native applications that come out of the design process.

Start here if you know what you need to build and want it shaped around your users.

Integration Suite Discovery

Map how your systems connect today and uncover the gaps where better integration could make a real difference to your business.

Start here if PI/PO support is on your radar, or data between your systems relies on manual handoffs.

Process Discovery

Find your real bottlenecks by looking at how your people actually work today. Then build automation around them, not a new process they'll never adopt.

Start here if your teams rely on spreadsheets, rekeying or workarounds.

Bespoke Sessions

Not every good idea fits neatly into a named service. Tell us what you're trying to solve, and we'll shape a session around it.

Start here if you know something isn't working but can't yet pin down what.

What a workshop looks like

One day, one room, your team and ours, working through a real problem together. You leave with something built and tested with real users, a genuine starting point you can act on straight away.

Participants: 3 to 25, department leads, IT, project sponsors, and AI specialists.

Duration: 1 day face-to-face (recommended), or 2 half-days virtual.

Where: At our AppHaus in Shropshire (recommended), virtually, or on-site with you.

Tools and techniques: LEGO Serious Play, pen and paper sketching, Figma & SAP Build for designs and prototypes.

Before we start

Introductory Session

Ahead of the workshop, we run a 60 to 90 minute online session. We introduce your participants to what's realistically possible in your chosen area, agree which part of the business to focus on and make sure the right people are in the room.

Empathise

Get to the real challenges

Participants bring real challenges from their own areas of the business. Each one stays specific and is described in the words of the people who live with it. Hands-on methods like LEGO Serious Play help get every challenge on the table, including from people who rarely speak up in a meeting.

Define

Find if or where the technology fits

The room works through which challenges the technology in focus could realistically solve, and builds real scenarios for how that would work in your business.

Ideate and prototype

Shape the ideas properly

The strongest ideas are sketched into prototypes and written up in full: what they'd do for users, the business case and the technical reality of building them in your SAP landscape. For AI use cases, that includes the ethical considerations too.

Test

Compare and prioritise

Ideas are tested with the people who'd use them, then weighed on real value and real complexity. The room agrees together on what's worth doing first.

Progress

Agree the next steps

Before anyone leaves the room, we agree concrete actions: what happens, by when and who owns it. If you'd like us to build what the workshop defined, we pick it up from there.

The outcomes

What you leave with

Every workshop ends with something you can act on.

We define your gaps and opportunities

Workshops bring people from across roles and departments into one room, so the gaps and opportunities highlighted are one that make the biggest difference to the business.

We test ideas with your users

Rapid prototyping means your users try ideas early, so problems are caught before they get embedded.

We give you a prioritised plan

You leave with a clear direction and priorities that link technology decisions to business value, ready to take to your leadership team.

We build buy-in from day one

Users who help shape a solution are far more likely to adopt it, which means faster returns and fewer workarounds after go-live.

Our workshop space

This workshop runs out of our dedicated AppHaus space, a converted church in Oswestry, Shropshire, built specifically for this kind of work. Conference rooms, a usability lab, and an open collaborative space designed for the way a Design Thinking session actually moves, not a borrowed meeting room with a whiteboard wheeled in for the day.

Prefer to run it remotely? We deliver the same workshop virtually, with no drop in how it's facilitated.

Results

QUESTIONS WE HEAR

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. Many teams arrive with a problem and an open mind, and working out which technology fits is part of what the workshop does. If you already have a solution in mind, we'll test it against the problem with you, so you can go ahead with confidence or change course early.
  • Not at all. Some of the most useful people in the room are the ones who use SAP every day without thinking about how it works, from warehouse and finance teams to customer service. We bring the SAP expertise, so your people can focus on describing how the work really happens.
  • Yes, and that's often why teams book one. Every idea that comes out of the day is written up with its business case and the technical reality of delivering it, and ranked against the others. You go back to leadership with a prioritised plan and the evidence behind it.
  • Then the day has saved you the cost of building it. Finding out early which ideas will pay off is one of the most valuable things a workshop does, and most teams leave with a stronger alternative from the same session.
  • Bring a real challenge and the people who live with it, alongside someone who can make decisions. Examples help too, whether that's a spreadsheet your team relies on, a process map or a screen everyone finds slow. We'll cover the rest in the introductory session.
