Key Webinar insights

During the webinar, we asked attendees to participate and have their say. This produced some interesting results summarised below.

How would you describe your current integration setup?

Attendees gave the following answers:

  • bureaucratic
  • chaotic
  • complex
  • messy
  • nightmare
  • non-existent
  • ok
  • very complex

These responses suggest that many organisations struggle with integration, facing unnecessary complexity, inefficiencies, or a complete lack of structured processes. A bureaucratic or chaotic setup can slow down operations, and make it harder to scale. The fact that very few described their setup positively highlights an industry-wide need for simpler, more streamlined integration solutions. To address this, businesses should consider modern integration platforms for that flexible and scalable approach.

Are you thinking of migrating from legacy middleware to SAP Integration Suite?

  • Yes:8
  • No: 0
  • Undecided: 4
  • Already Have: 2
The results indicate strong interest in migrating from legacy middleware to SAP Integration Suite, with 57% of respondents actively considering the move. Notably, none have dismissed the idea outright, while 29% remain undecided—suggesting they may need more information or reassurance about the benefits and feasibility of migration. Meanwhile, 14% have already completed the transition, showing that early adopters are finding value in modernising their integration landscape. This presents an opportunity to address concerns, provide real-world success stories, and offer strategic guidance to help undecided businesses confidently move forward with their migration plans.
The results show that while 67% of respondents say their organisation has an integration strategy, a significant 33% do not. This suggests that while many businesses recognise the importance of structured integration, a notable portion still operate without a clear plan. Without a strategy, organisations risk inefficiencies, higher costs, and integration challenges as their systems grow. To bridge this gap, businesses should prioritise defining a clear integration roadmap, leveraging best practices and modern platforms like SAP Integration Suite to ensure seamless, scalable, and future-proof connectivity across their systems.

When are you planning on migrating to SAP Integration Suite?

  • Already Have: 1
  • Between 1-12 months: 3
  • Between 12 months to 2027: 6
  • Beyond 2027: 0
  • Never: 0
The results indicate that companies are looking to migrate to SAP Integration Suite sooner rather than later. A combined 40% plan to make the move within the next 12 months, while the remaining 60% have set their sights on completing migration by 2027. Notably, no respondents are pushing it beyond this timeframe or rejecting migration altogether. This highlights a clear industry shift—businesses are prioritising modern integration now to stay competitive. If you wait too long, you risk falling behind as others streamline their operations, improve connectivity, and future-proof their systems. The time to act is now.
