SAP BTP CAPM Developer
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This role will join our SAP BTP team on support & projects working with Bluestonex product teams using many different techniques and many different technologies available in SAP BTP.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will become an SAP CAPM Developer focussing on BTP technology (such as HANA Cloud), R&D and Product Design within our SAP Apphaus & SAP BTP Teams. You will be key to Product Development, / R&D / Projects / Customer Success and ongoing support.
SAP BTP CAPM Developer
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Build intelligent apps and workflows using CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model), SAP HANA Cloud. Minimum of 4 year’s experience
• Strong experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using Node.js or Java stack
• Hands-on development experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
• Proficiency in **JavaScript / **TypeScript
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA, including CDS modeling and database optimization
• Experience developing OData V2/V4 services
• Hands-on work with CDS (Core Data Services) modeling and service definitions
• Experience building enterprise applications using **SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
• Familiarity with Git-based version control workflows
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
SAP BTP CAPM Developer
OTHER COMPETENCIES – Nice to have
• Exposure to AI/ML capabilities within SAP ecosystem
• Experience using SAP HANA Cloud AI capabilities
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications on SAP BTP
• Experience in performance tuning, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting CAP applications
• Knowledge of Vector embeddings and semantic search using SAP HANA
• SAP certification in SAP BTP or SAP Build or SAP Business AI
